Jerry Jeff Walker’s son Django Walker continues to host the annual Camp Belize to keep the tradition alive. Django stepped foot on the Island for the first time in the late 1990’s with his parents Susan and Jerry Jeff Walker.  Each year aficionados of the legendary singer-songwriter and his son Django Walker migrate from all over the world, mostly from the US, to see him perform in this beautiful Caribbean setting. Many of the enthusiasts are also musicians themselves, and they too enjoy the tropical ambiance while making music and socializing with each other.

Camp Belize will kick off Sunday, January 26, 2025 with a meet and greet party at the famous Palapa Bar, and on Tuesday the 28th, Django Walker will take the stage for the first of two concerts scheduled that week. This year Django has added several friends to join him at Camp Belize to ensure an amazing fan experience.

One thing is for certain, these gregarious fans are hooked on music, and when they are not attending one of the many concerts during the week they are busy making music of their own! Pickin’ Parties pop up daily at local bars, such as the Palapa Bar and others on the island. These Walker Wonders really make fantastic music together and anyone who has the chance to listen to one of their jams is in for a real treat!

Camp Belize ends on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Keep your ears open for Pickin’ Parties, a great time indeed! Have a wonderful musical stay on La Isla Bonita Walker Wonders!
